HISTORY

Investments International Corporation was originally founded in 2009 specifically to work with international investment funds primarily regulated out of Ireland dealing with global investors and compliant with double taxation agreements with the USA. Regulatory bodies included the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in the UK and the Central Bank of Ireland authorising Investment Management with Promoters also authorised under the Market in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID).

Investments International primarily consulted in the following areas;

• producing and advising on capital raising documentation for lodgement with the Central Bank of Ireland and other corporate documentation associated with these entities;

• advising, recommending and helping implement the business structures, international marketing structure, processes and personnel, including branding, logos and presentations;

• advising on the balance of debt if required to equity to maximise returns for the operations and investments;

• implementing budgets and forecasts for the initial and ongoing years of operations, and;

• facilitating the introduction of suitable equity partners and investors for funds and entities.

More recent projects have included strategic consulting, including business planning and corporate strategy development for investments, business structures for Funds and commercial entities. Overseeing the implementation of policies, documentation and systems to meet corporate and regulatory requirements including working with investment and compliance committees and specialist legal firms with amendment and upgrade of AFSL license and Responsible Manager requirements. Writing of capital raising regulatory documents and ancillary agreements and the facilitation of capital raising and appropriate debt structuring for companies. Investments International has also assisted private and unlisted companies to be listed to maximise the return on investment for equity holders.

Investments International has helped establish new marketing and business networks for investment, consulting and corporate services for companies. The companies have been taken from start-up to successful international entities. The company has expertise in due diligence and the oversight of projects for private equity investments, subordinated debt financing and the acquisition of small to medium size businesses either stand-alone or amalgamated with a view to taking them public.

We have extensive experience in areas primarily related to, financial services, fund management, capital raising, corporate advisory and property development.

Investments International was founded by Grant Vickers. He was management trained by a first tier firm of International Chartered Accountants in Sydney, in their management consultancy division. Grant developed the skills for setting the parameters under which a system, project or business should operate and employing the resources and processes to successfully implement these.

Grant has been a director of both public and private companies and is well versed in all facets of running these both domestically and globally and advises across a variety of industries. In 2008, he was a director and CEO of a public company rated in the top 10 fastest growing companies in Australia which grew from assets of USD10 million to USD2.4 billion within the space of 2 years. He is well respected and has developed this into an international organisation with a wide network of business professionals, advisers and investors based throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe, Middle East, South Africa and the USA.

He also has a specialised knowledge in the workings of Shari’ah finance, investments and funding including Sukuk bonds in Malaysia, Indonesia and the Middle East. He has been Chairman and sat on various advisory boards that are involved in this sector.

Grant’s core strengths are the foundation of what Investments International Corporation has been built on. He possesses good business acumen, has a very lateral, simple and logical approach to problem solving. He has an intuitive ability to quickly assess people, business environments and circumstances in general with the view of getting the best out of all and getting deals completed in the most effective and profitable way.

Grant has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales with a major in accountancy, finance and systems.
